KCUSD Board approves $3,400,000+ spent within 16 days

On November 8th, Kings Canyon Unified School Board Members voted unanimously for purchase approvals between October 15 and 31. Purchases varied from $329,000 for RHS Softball Bleachers to nearly $30,000 for office supplies at Office Depot. Other purchases included $5,399 for new furniture for the Silas Bartch School Principal’s Office, $1,400 at Savemart for staff meeting supplies, and $502 for district meeting beverages.


Board members also voted to approve the awarding of a bid to purchase new golf carts.


Associated Student Body purchases totaled $17,000 which ranged from numerous Amazon.com orders, a $10 subscription to Spotify music, and event balloons.
